What kind of clear paint did you use? I used rattle can clear on my Hot Trick chassis, just whatever HomeDepot had. Came out pretty well.
I've done it too, with tamiya clearcoat for their TS paint (must be tamiya TS clearcoat ). It's got so much surface tension this thing that I could get a wetlook on my yrf-2 chassis which was initially pretty battered

traded some clod parts for this car. had mix matched junk rims and tires, Novack esc, futava servo, trans got sand in it.
the green rims with sand tires i put on i got with the other rc10 goldpan i got for $50.

i had probably spent 3 hrs total bulding up and tearing down this car. i stripped this graphite car for the parts to build up another car.i dont know if i like the final product of the car that was built from these parts.heres some pics of the car...
I just restored a six gear RC10 Graphite,it turned out nice,but there's a few scuffs on the underside of the chassis I'd like to get rid of.
I heard about someone using some sort of epoxy to coat the bottom and it looked new-anyone know anything...

Remaining unseen from my wife. As long as its unseen she forgets I have a collection. That is at least until we find a house to move into. Not very much space in a 700sq ft apt.
Just recently started to restore this full original Graphite Team car.
Was completely original with every nut/bolt/washer.
Waiting on a few bits now to continue.
