Yeah, AE discontinued that tower. I tried to order a bunch of cool stuff like that from AE a couple months ago and it was all discontinued. They are still making most of the basic parts for the old RC10's, but slowly the supply is drying up.
I'm looking at the parts to get an rc10 graphite together.
Looking at the 25 year thread and the manual I see the front shock tower is a 4 hole 6231, but the front shocks are listed as the 6449 listed as .56 on rc10.com.
Was there a running change...

the graphite Team car still had the 4 hole tower at first, so the graphite non team should have only had the 4 hole.
Rebuilding 2 losis(1 junior t converted to jrxt and a jrxpro se mix part buggy converted to a junior2), as of now they have junior2/t front shocktowers.Been trolling ebay for a deal on a graphite/fiberglass font tower but I'm not sure what works...

I'm starting to build my A&L chassis and want to do something a little different atleast. I have a buggy with what I believe is a A&L front shock tower for the RC10T. My question is, would it look alright on a A&L glass chassis kit?

Yeah, I thought it would help smooth out jumps a bit but this one will only do shelf duty. The buggy pictured though has a very interesting future I shall share soon ;).
Never seen these before (tried to search here also) - This came with a graphite I bought while ago and it looks too nice to be home made. It seems like stamped or cut and not machined or drilled. Has anyone seen like before?

I measured the thickness and it's only 0.8mm. Material is also ferromagnetic, so something iron based. Probably it's someone's one-off custom part - quite decent looking though. Not sure if I am going to use it either...
I have a Fibrelyte RPM front shock tower that came in a job lot of carbon bits. I'm thinking of fitting it as part of a plan to use longer shocks and widen the front end on my Rc10 but i'm not sure what bulkhead is required for this one?
not sure if its been done or tested, but i found 4-5 at my LHS and decided to give it a try, comes out perfect. Bottom needs about .5 mm sanded off, and then just holes drilled to match.

just to clarify too, you will need to take like 1mm off the bottom of the XX plate otherwise it wont sit right on the RC10 noseplate, i used a belt sander for mine
