Very cool Rod! Weather wise, you aren't missing much at home. I'd take the California rain over the over night -1C here any day. It's supposed to be 16 today but looks like our autum is here and winter not fat behind.

You aren't missing wheeling either. I'm going to Drumheller to do some RC crawling instead.

This is my phone pic of Cliff Lett:

We were talking about the electronics in it and I told him they were not correct. He looked at the Novak RX and said they only ran 27mhz back then! He also said he would look in his stuff for the correct ESC, RX and possible decals! He gave me his email to remind him! 8) COOL! Cedric says he should be able to help with the Proline and Lavco decals, Thanks Cedric! Now I want to make this truck as correct as I can!

I hate "fat behind" winters anyway! Have fun crawling Bro! 8) Wanted to try out the off road track today here in Victoria, but guess what?... It's effin raining! Oh well, going to watch some rainy Auto Cross instead!

Rod, that's too cool. What plans do you have in mind for the truck now?

I'm going to update it with some correct parts that I found at home, like the rear bulkhead and batteries. Need to hard wire and lose the Deans. I'm going to email Cliff when I get home and hope he finds some original electronics for me. The truck as you see, can be a runner but now it will mostly live it's life proudly sitting on my shelf!

This is pretty awesome. I for some reason though, feel like I remember the original chassis being pink in this? or more fluorescent red? Maybe it was the magazine. I also loved this truck and back in the day, this was my inspiration when building my very first race kit- the 10T Sport. I am going to search for this magazine next time I am at my mothers house, I'm sure I have it.

My own truck, because it was a sport had the black tub, gold shocks and wide front wheels. But it sure did have a decent attempt at painting this body. The truck I am building right now will be closer to my version with the black tub.

I like that you drove it! How did it run? Have you driven any of the more recent stadium trucks? How was it in comparison?

The original chassis was fluorescent red. I added pictures of the RC Car Action article on page one of this thread. You can see pictures of Cliff's truck there!

It's been a while since I drove it, but I do remember it was fantastic to drive. Better than my other 10T and T2. This may have been because of the narrow tires though. I have a T3 and T4, I don't feel it was as good as them, but you can never tell unless you have lap times, so I'm not 100% sure.

Yes, I had the exact same mag. Probably still do. Read most of it and I even remembered it had the Mr. A 14x3 motor.

I've always really liked this build. The picture of Cliff Lett posing with it makes it that much cooler.
