FYI, tower lists the B44 rear bone at 69mm and the center bone at 61mm, so yours are about 8mm too long (as you mentioned)

Great thread! But I have one simple question I have not been able to find a simple answer to:

Will the #6371 CVA kit fit on a B2/B3? (http://www.ebay.com/itm/RC10-CVA-Set-3-16-in-Axle-Team-Associated-6371-/252202283467?hash=item3ab86d71cb:g:ci4AAOSw7FRWZNUY)

I just got mine out of a box after almost 20 years and am getting more modern for running with my son.

I was glad to find such a following and info for the RC10s of old. I never would have guessed.

Yes, but it may be a mm short. I still need to put my B3 CVDs next to the RERE CVAs.

I can add a couple of more shims to the inside to help with that, can't I? Or will that shorten the outside of the axle too much?

*Update - well I ordered them and the front axles as well. So I will find out for sure!

Yes, I shimmed mine in as well. Awesome, as you get it done, create a build thread so we can all see it.

They are indeed a mm or 2 short. I am getting more shims, but would it be a direct swap to use B4 rear arms and then the length would be correct with no additional shimming? The arms are only like $5.

In the re-release section, they talk about a different part # that is a couple mm longer. B4 arms will not work, both the inner and outer hinge pin locations are different, as well as the hinge pin size itself.

Thanks, I will take a look there. I have them installed with a little extra shimming and they are working I think. I have not hit it that hard yet.

im looking to run newer 2.2 rims & tires on my rc10 team car ( i have a set of jc concept spoked rims for it). I noticed the Rc10b2 MIP cvd's are no longer available.

Whats the next step if the b2 cvd's are gone ?!

THESE HPI Adapters

The "red" ones are a direct fit to the 1/4" axles, BUT you have to sand down or cut off the part circled yellow (for buggy rims and non HPI truck rims)

If you combine the "blue" ones meant for Losi with the 3/16" axles you also gain about 4.2mm of offset per side which is a bit more than 5/32".

I hope this helps some of you guys.

I was talking about those adapters in the Link above.

The usually also show up when you search for HPI Super Star wheels
