Tower Hobbies
I wonder what is going on with Tower Hobbies, I just bought the last 2 x ASC6211 30 Degree caster blocks in white.
Now it is showing not carried,

I see parts have gone from mid November to late November then to mid December then to late December and now
some parts are showing early January.
Cheers, Dave.

Re: Tower Hobbies
The pissed off Associated- likely for not paying their invoices. That’s why MIP left. Ive heard from another supplier they aren’t paying them as well. Associated have been reportedly shipping the bulk of their stock to Horizon Hobbies who they are back to dealing with after several years of begin apart

Re: Tower Hobbies
I started out with Tower as my source in the mid 70's. I bought from the big catalog, money order, shipping to FPO address.
It's a shame to see them go so far down hill. Nowadays, I spend most of my hobby money with the smaller sources.

Re: Tower Hobbies
Same here. Dad and I were into planes in mid '70's and Tower was nearly as close as the nearest hobby shop so we got almost everything from them. Also bought my Sand Scorcher from Tower when they first hit the catalog. For the sake of their employees, I hope they are able to sort everything out.

Re: Tower Hobbies
The loss of Traxxas would have been huge for them. Now losing mip and likely others- I don’t see them surviving. Back in the day they had kyosho, Futaba, etc all exclusive. Now they have what Arrma? Yikes.

Re: Tower Hobbies
Hi,
Does anyone else do Team Associated parts that I can deal with?
I tried Horizon Hobby but no Team Associated parts are coming up.
Dealing direct with Team Associated the postage is expensive.
Cheers, Dave.

Re: Tower Hobbies
yeah, that is really a shame. I love tower hobbies for the amount of information you can get from the descriptions, and the site is decent to navigate. this is a tough industry to survive in, and everything is like a house of cards, lose one card and everything crumbles. I wish them all the best but we shall see.
