I’ve been on a bit of a spree the last few days. I bought a Kyosho Javelin and yesterday I finely bought a Tekin RC10 I’ve been wanting for a while.

I don't have anything that I can actually touch right now but I treated myself to ordering a pile of RC10T parts to build a truck!

I got another Worlds rere off the OSRC auction page on FB a couple weeks ago. My wife asked what I wanted for Christmas and I said well...... let's see if I can snag this for a good price. And, I did. I've had it in my hands and looked it over, but then I had to put it back in the box so she could wrap it and put it under the tree.

It's new built, and only run once. But, it needs to be completely torn down and rebuilt. It also came almost rtr with a Tekin RS Spec esc, Trinity 17.5 Killshot motor and a Hitec metal gear servo (an mg-645 or something like that - a clod or crawler servo) for a really good price.

No RC gifts for me as there is no money

I did put a hack RC10T4 together out of old/spare bits left over from my T4 racing days. I used an old 120A Hobbwing Version 1 ESC (no dynamic timing) an old Hobbywing 5.5T motor, a savox servo I had laying around and an old spektrum receiver.

I must say it's the most fun I've had in a LONG time. Gearing is perfect, crazy long run times, plenty fast, spins the wheels for days, wheelies and is just borderline out of control. It's a lot more 5.5T then I remember it being !!!
I was old school - when old school wasn't cool !

There is a RC28T stashed under the tree somewhere.

I (looks both ways) don't know what you are talking about

I snagged a NIB gem a few months back so that's my guilty under oath kinda thing there.

I did request a tiny RC (28/32????)T. My sister-in-law: what do you want? Maybe I get it, maybe I dont. But for 50 clams, we'll see what happens.

It's hard to drift a TRX-1 around a twin post lift in a one bay shop...
Hope you're doin' something fun.

The overtime was plentifull at work this year so I treated my Son to a new Axial scx10 CRC jeep. Bought myself a new Tamiya black Porsche 934 and a set of Tecnacraft wheels.

The wife and I exchange presents vs santa bringing anything for us. I never really want anything for Xmas, but since she asked I told her to get me a new futaba radio (3pv). Hopefully I've been good all year

I can’t say that I can afford it, but I found the money to gather up a few more new unbuilt kits- a Cosmo from Paul (arrived today), a MRC MT10s kit, a Beagle kit (hasn’t arrived), and a Ishipla Monster (arrives Monday)

So that’s the present I got myself this year 😎

I got one last month and haven’t had much time with it, but I did some shopping with Hobby King and grabbed 5 orange receivers (paired up perfectly!) for around $13 a pop, and a 5 cell nimh pack for it off Amazon for around the same. (I don’t want lithium to worry about inside the radio). I’m sure you will love it

Oh cool, I wasn't sure if it would work with the orange receivers. I got the telemtry receiver to start so I could use the steering mix if I run it in a clod.

That’s why I needed a 4ch rx, since you can only mix the 4th channel. The GR400s is what I bought and they paired right up. Looks like they went up a couple bucks

Will be interested to see the Beagle kit fella - I have a built up one which I was given for free a while back. Took me posting up on here to find out what it even was. I unknowingly thought it was an Optima with a belt drive conversion initially until I looked a little closer. Bit of a rarity really.

My gift to myself was opening my Pro Radiant kit and finally getting the time to put it together. It literally is gorgeous.

It probably won't mean much to most people on here but I also managed to find a rare pair of SRM motors I had been hunting after for quite some time. An early Scorcher (27T) and matching Screamer (28T) to go alongside my later Scorcher and Scorcher Plus versions. They should clean up ok, and are in the post to me as I type this 8)
