i have the rare OVAL version of that chassis with the full rear suspension too
I have one new in the box as well. This is a different animal and both are really interesting in their own ways. I want to build a hybrid with the independent rear and a more solid chassis. I have a lot of wants though lol.

They came from Thomas Peter who has at least one legitimate Schumacher Digger (pic attached, car has been modernized for running) with team built aluminum components

Look into PETG, PLA sucks for strength. Nylon is usually too flexible. PETG is supper strong from my testing. Downside is support material seems to be a pain to remove on my printer. Most of my parts require it and so I am not using it right now until I get a new printer. My printer is getting really old now.
Just finished up drawing out replacement diff parts for the Lethal Weapons. I want to get back to using the original style diffs instead of the stealth parts which are now getting hard to find again. While I trust my measurements, I want to see these before I get with a machine shop and have a couple hundred made. I decided to try having shapeways print them in their “smoothest detail plastic” which obviously won’t be able to be ran but should work great for mock up.

I have better prints coming from Shapeways but I got impatient and printed some at home. The print was fair, good enough to be able to mock it up and verify fitment. I’m happy to say I only goofed up one measurement and only by a very slight amount. Woot!

Hey Dan, any recommendations for learning Fusion? I watched all of Maker Muses's Fusion tutorial videos and that got me to where I was able to make some parts for my Axial Wraith.
It's still not perfect but it's holding up. That was printed at the very limit of my Monoprice Select Mini so I've since added a Creality Ender 3.
I know what you mean about about two different printers needing seemingly WAY different settings to print the same part.

I'm going to drive it 'til the wheels fall off and burn.
Decided to play around with a Nikko Dictator. To be fair, this is a radio shack version but mostly compatible. I have a proper Nikko coming for the final build. It cost me $35 shipped, so I can't complain! The car isn't too far from hobby grade...

I have sold a few sets but they were primarily just something I wanted. If interested you can send a message for details. We cut all of our parts to order so it’s a pretty quick turnaround

I had another thread showing off a pin routed 12e chassis and had a few interested in seeing how the pin router is made and how it works. Figure it is worth...

With all the very cool vintage RC cars that I see in this forum, and with the trouble and expense that some people go to get them as good if not better than what they would have been originally, it occurs to me that with the advent of technology...

It doesn't have to be attached, there is a support material that is removed after the part is finished.
I am looking to get some parts printed in PCblend. I think I have one .stl file sourced already. But, another part I need is a variation/prototype version of what later became the production version. There is enough of a difference between the two...

Looking at the part, it looks quite easy to model... And a nice start to onboard within 3D design with Fusion360...
So I have an Ender3 V2 I picked up last Christmas. I have been using it for smaller functional prints and am curious about making some replacement parts for RC cars. I have been learning to design parts on Tinkercad and have found some on...

Fusion 360 is free for makers and should suit your needs as long as you aren't a commercial user.
A while ago I picked up my son a Traxxas Slash kit for his birthday to introduce him to a proper hobby build. The build made me reminisce of the Traxxas Hawk 2 and Traxxas TRX-3 I had back in the day, before I stepped away from the hobby years ago....
