The 3% peroxide isn't a measurement of how much to add, its the concentration percentage of what comes in the bottle. Think of it as Strengths.

don't dilute it. pour it right from the bottle into a glass jar.

Has anyone tried this on rims with foams already mounted? Does it harm the foam tire / whiten the rim. Wheels in question are 1/12 on-road.

My bet is you can kiss your foams good bye ;)

I've tried some 40 dilution one on some yellowed parts... don't ask me what the 40 corresponds to, this is the strongest that was available in my chemical-paranoid country! but after 2 days in the sun (checking every few hours) they are white just like I wanted them this is AWESOME.

Now for the record... I've tried to whiten some ballcups that were attached to original and very slightly correded turnbuckles... the ballcups look superb now but the turnbuckles look WAY more corroded. Shoulda guessed it

Last but not least... I've dipped some yellowish arms that I bought from the one and only rcbonezzzzzzz before he became (in)famous... well they did came out whiter for sure... but the treatment also revealed that they have been spray-painted white  This guy is just amazing

Anyways... I have a PILE of RC10 parts to process now. Thanks Jay!!!

It turns out the perfect plastic bleaching solution is a mixture of hydrogen peroxide, glycerin, oxygen based bleach like OxyClean, and xanthum gum to make it sticky. Brush it on and leave it out in the sun or under a UV lamp to accelerate the process
