Re: Team Blue Groove
I recently e-mailed them about reproducing three different bodies I have. One they already have in a personal collection that will be made later, but the other two were turned down because of a potential lack of interest. Yet they make TLR22 and MRP Dirt Warrior bodies.
I was told that the popularity of the upcoming Bat Wedge could lead them to make other wedge bodies. I just looked at the Bat Wedge auction because I thought about getting one, but shipping from Canada is $20.

Re: Team Blue Groove
The extra cost on shipping the Batwedge I can sort of understand since it's a large body and postage when I sent it to them was approx. $12 w/o paying for a new box, or eBay/Paypal fees.LTO_Dave wrote:...

What I don't see as worth paying for though is one of TBG's Bolink copies when an original costs less from RJ or WT.

Re: Team Blue Groove
The bat wedge is also .040 which from what I understand the original was super light and super fragile
That and the mrp dirt warrior are on my list of bodies I'm ordering next
$20 shipping a big (albeit light) box from Canada to the US isn't bad actually, gotta figure they need to make 20% above shipping cost just to cover eBay fees.
Don't hate the player, hate the game

Re: Team Blue Groove
dammit...bat wedge is available, but no where to race them by me still may need to get one and build a car to go under it...always loved that body, never owned one.

Re: Team Blue Groove
TBG sent me some pics of the 1/12 Associated Vega Funny Car I sent to them. He said it came out perfect and lost no details and it's easy to see from the pics. It should go into production in about two weeks. Can't wait!

It's ready guys! As soon as my bodies come in I can start on my RC12E drag project.
Search Associated Vega on e-Bay or just go to Team Blue Groove on e-Bay if you have them saved to your favorite sellers list.

Re: Team Blue Groove
There's more of a demand for a Vega funny car body than a Buick Grand National?? Weird...

Re: Team Blue Groove
He is sending back a couple 1/10 of mine as well, shipping is now more than the cost of the bodies so he is limiting the 1/10 to things he feel will be more in demand. I'd love a GN!

It's the blower man! The blower! Actually I would like a Grand National too. The more vintage bodies we have the better I say.
