I'm curious too. I've been looking at the Futaba 3PV.

My old school Airtronics FM radio fried when I left the batteries in it for too long. I've been making due with a $30 Traxxas 2.4GHZ I picked up, but I'd like something with more adjustments so I can limit the servo travel. I'd also like one that can control multiple cars.

Find a used Airtronics/Sanwa MT-4. You will like it. Has a 20 model memory, and can control servo throw like you want, plus a myriad of other things, like anti-lock-braking. Used ones can be had in great shape for as little as $100.

Thanks for the tip. I'll start digging around eBay.

I've been in the market for radio gear for my boat, and I've narrowed it down to the Sanwa/Airtronics MX-V. Hopefully it's a good choice.

I'm considering the 3PV. It's affordable and seems to be highly regarded.

I looked at that one as well but I just couldn't get over the design. Way too funky looking for me. :? :)
