Is there a 3S lipo that fits nice in the rc10 worlds re re?

Post by Showcase1186 »

Thanks for your help in advance. I've done a search on here with limited luck on here. Is there a 3S lipo that will fit the rc10 worlds car re release without hacking up the battery cups?

Thanks for any help!!!

The reason you aren't finding any info on it, is that nobody does it. A 2s hi-C rating pack with a fast motor is WAY more than enough for these cars. A 3s system would grenade the tranny in short order.

In addition, they won't fit in the stock battery cups anyways. Maybe length and width if you're lucky, but not height.

Any standard 2S pack... this is what the re-re worlds was designed around ;)

A standard 2s lipo battery pack with deans plug can fit, such as a ovonic 2s 5000mah lipo.

A soft shell 3S pack will fit. But I agree with yellowdatsun that this is way too much power. I run 3S with a 8.5 in my T3 every now and then and that's TOTALLY overpowered.

not certain on the buggy , but I run a venom 3s 4000 shorty lipo in a late black parts rc10t . should fit fine in the buggy also
running a dynamite 4900 kv brushless , and the trans is holding out fine . I do keep ripping out the insides of my rear wheels , and tires last 2 runs

At the very least your gunna need about 2lbs weight on the front end to stop it lifting the front wheels ! , a good 2s hight C rating race pack is plenty , if you want to go nuts stick a 7.5t or 6.5t brushless motor in it and that's probably still overkill .
If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.
