Hello from California!
Hi everyone!
I have an old RC10GT that I've been working on converting to electric. I bought it new in 2002 or so. Nitro just became too much of a hassle/annoyance for me, and with today's brushless systems it seemed like a no-brainer. It's a work in progress.
I made all of the bare aluminum parts. There are some things I would like to change, so I'm hoping for rev 2 shortly. I wanted to show my work here where there is a relevant crowd and also get any input on the project!

Re: Hello from California!
Thanks!
I'm in the Bay Area. I still have the original body on it... like this: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=1493604&d=1375550629
It's really falling apart though. The plastic around the rear mounting holes is completely missing, and I kinda bastardized it when I was younger by cutting huge holes in it for the nitro engine. Any idea where to get an affordable replacement? I think one of those with the little rear wing would be cool. I'm just not sure which ones will fit. Are other RC10's compatible (eg. T4)?
I hope to share some good stuff and learn some new things here.
