Identifying the body

Post by orangemazda »

Can somebody help me identify exactly what body this is?

And even better yet, does someone happen to have one NIB? I know that’s probably a longshot but I love the lines of this old-school Monstertruck body.

That is a nice looking body! Have you looked into recreating it with a vacuum mold? I have what believe is a Pro-line Jeep Commanche body and have never seen another one. Been looking at videos on youtube about vacuum forming. Was thinking of recreating the Jeep and also making a home made Dodge Dakota to paint like the old Walker Evans MTEG/baja trucks from the late 80's.early 90's.

I thought you could only make a mold from new bodies that haven't been cut out yet.

I was planning on taping any holes up and reinforcing them. Once the plaster of paris dries, sand away.
