I.D. Truck Body

Post by NomadRacer »

I dug this truck body out of my lost and found, wondering what the maker/model is. There's no mold marks anywhere. It's a bit dusty but in good condition.

Must be a gas truck body with shock tower opening to the back like that.

At first look, I was thinking that the rear wing that's molded into the rear would, somehow mount on those "blocks". I don't want to cut it off to find out if I'm right. It might be a rare thing that I could trade off!

It's a McCallister GT truck body and yes it a wing that gets trimmed off!

Thanks for the ID! I should probably find a good home for it instead of putting back in the closet.

I'm not sure, but I think that truck may be to big for that track.
I've got some that might be the right size :mrgreen:

@radioactivity

Hey mate, you'll have to go smaller than 1/24th scale for my track... HO scale!

That's a sweet track! I have no idea about the truck body though. :D

Seeing your track, very nice, stirred some memories of when I first started smashing a controller button.
I dug up my old cars and had to share.
They may be older than most, save a few old dogs, forum members.
And what about the paint on those beauties?
