Reedy Sonic

Post by Dr XX »

So I've been sorting through my motor box, and found this odd ball (to me at least) Reedy sonic. Not seen another with this end bell arrangement, and wanted to know if anyone has any info? When I got it I was told it was a worlds raced motor, which would have been early to mid 90's.

Never seen one like this before, but then again I wasn't a worlds racer either back then  (neither am I now...)

In my book, any alloy-finned brushed motor is really cool (pun intended). Care to take it apart and show us the rotor, how it's balanced, and possibly hand-written on?

Neither was I Paul, just got lucky picking it up. I’ll take it apart and take some better pics later.
