Team Best Performance wrote:It seems I cannot find RCCA coverage of the 1991 Worlds in here(might be wrong though).I think it is in the September 91 issue (has a small stealth car photo on cover and I think some black and white photos /sneak peak of it inside).I think that might be the same issue that has some photos of the XX proto car?

what exactly are you looking for? i have 4 rcca issues in front of me, from 1991. i have august which talks about the 89' aussie worlds and masami's threat and repeat to the 91' worlds. it shows the track layout, jay halsey and pops losi "talking", and the new kyosho triumph "threat". it also has a spy shot of roger curtis man handling a stealth car.

in the october issue is the worlds warm up update. which has a shot of masami's tub rc10 team car. joel johnson chomping down on a sandwich, jack johnson wrenching on his rig, cecil schumacher talking to jurgen lautenbach, and a shot of his schumacher. also a snickering kris moore putting on some decals on his kyosho rig.

in the november issue is the news flash edition. which talks about associated's prototype stealth car, schumacher's prototype car, and losi's rig. and they're all naked with no bodies on them. that's all in this issue.

and finally, the december issue with masami's sweeet sweeet stealth car on the cover. this is the issue with all race coverage. everything from cliff lett playing b-ball, fatboy bk "whopper" and masami getting kicked out of somewhere, masami's dad planting the 4wd car on the grid, cliff pointing out the NO COPIES decal on the stealth car, and an awesome shot of masami's stealth car trying to fly upside down. there is a lot of shots of almost everything going down at the worlds in this issue. also there is shots of the prototypes from losi, schumacher and associated again.

let me know what you're looking for.

LittleVette thanks for your reply,
The photos attached were found in the net some years ago.I think it is quite clear they are from RCCA.I would like to see the complete Worlds coverage, esp the protos from other manufacturers aside AE you seem to mention more towards the end of your message.

that picture you put up is the news flash edition of november 1991. that's all they show, 2 pages of naked prototypes. same thing as the worlds coverage issue.

Ok.I think we would all rather have the complete properly scanned pages of the sample I posted above plus the December issue with all the official worlds coverage with info/photos on what other teams were presenting at the worlds whenever you have the time to do so.Thanks again.

I pulled this from the above page from RCCA. The bottom right pic on the page, according to the text on the left side, was a new AE front end for their tub chassis. I could never find any other pics of it.

Well, I was talking with Brad Reelfs the other day and we somehow got on the subject of this front end. That's when he said he had his brother Bret's front end from the race. They were handed out to AE team drivers that were not running a stealth car. He sent me a couple pics and I asked if it was alright that I posted them, so here they are. It's a standard truck nose plate and bulklhead, RPM worlds arms, and a tower very similar to the one Composite Craft produced. It also looks like the truck steering bellcranks were used in the long wheelbase position.
