here's another angle taped from the 1995 ifmar 1/10 off road worlds. great video on matt francis cutting up decals for his body and wiring up this prototype b2, as well as masami doing the same and balancing tires. very cool behind the scenes stuff.

A-main 1 2wd, and pit action right after francis wins this main. there's a close up shot of his prototype b2.

A-main 2 2wd, as well as a little pit action right after francis wins 2wd.

pit action and control practice. great shots of masaki wrenching on masami's prototype b2. masami balancing his front tires. close ups on masami's, francis's b2's. and more great stuff.

he just put up 4wd's a-main, qualifying, and more pit action. very cool and interesting wrenching going on. love masami's wheel/tire balancer. very trick. and for 2wd he put up the third a-main with an insane battle for the front.

this video has some real nice closeups and pit action with masaki wrenching on masami's yokomo - breaking open a rear diff, pavidis cutting up some of those famous front tires and a closeup on his rig, masami balancing tires with cliff lett, brian kinwald cutting up foams, and kyosho's new rig. very cool closeup at-speed shots too of mark francis, brian kinwald, and masami's cars on track. and some great qualifying action.

2wd third a-main. insane battle up front with masami and pavidis! brief 2wd podium ceremony with matt francis as the 2wd world champ.

he added a couple more videos. the first one is for the 4wd a-main second round. there's a great close up on mark francis's buggy. with mark pavidis and masaaki wrenching on theirs.

4wd a-main third and final round. pavidis for the win. ending ceremonies with pavidis signing the ifmar driver's plaque, and winner's podium. pavidis, francis, and masami thanking their sponsors.

Very cool videos, thanks for sharing. It's a nice source to discover period correct electronics or for someone who's building a replika.

What's the 4wd buggy on the last Scenes¿¿¿ Looks like a Zx with Losi shocks and yokomo upper arms :o

Just from your description that would be a Kyosho Lazer ZX-S. The replacement for the ZX-R that came with Losi shocks and Yokomo wheels as standard.

I know there's a zx with the losi shocks and yokomo wheel hubs but didn't know it has the yokomo upper arms, and that chassis plate... it's new to me, never saw it exactly :)

The upper arms are Kyosho, they just look like Yokomo.
Here's a ZX-S chassis

Here are some decent pictures of the ZX-S Evolution, it's successor, the main differences are Kyosho shocks and wheels

Awesome cars, seem to be very rare. Thank you for sharing. I heard about this zx-s but never saw it in detail.
