Dang, still no ads. Must be the same source I got mine from. I’d love to find a source that still has the ads, that was the best part of the magazine! Haha

Text search is very handy tho!

all the digital versions came from the RCCA leak way back. RCCA had just digitized all the Mags before 2005 and then accidentally handed out the link that was suppose to be behind the paywall.

everyone downloaded them.

the 2 mags scans from 1986 had the original ADs after that they were removed before posting. the speculation was they would have a legal issue with posting the ads as the ads were only legal in the original print form and they would have to get releases from all the companies to be allowed to republish them in digital format. since that would of been impossible to track down all the intellectual owners of all the companies most are long gone then they had to legally take the ads out and just keep the content that was their own and could legally post without issue.

i lost all my original magazines going back to 1986 in a flood, and it took me years to get back a fraction of my original collection.

I have most of them from 88 to 92, so if you are looking for a specific vendor's ad, let me know I can dig through if you know a rough time frame or a specific car or something in the mag to help narrow down.
