Kent once again thanks, I was a sucker for my 10GW when I raced in Germany, and even though it was a tad heavy it was "sure footed" --like a Kawasaki ZX7-R

What are the chance of an HPI 10GW even if 200mm revival?

I imagine the F1 front end softened up the front end a bit and changed the reactive camber rate some as well, is that why it had been done?

I see every now and then a Roadstar "12G" in 1:12 did that chassis ever exist?

Unfortunately the minimum order quantities are too high so I doubt that there will be a re-release of the 10GW.

I don't remember if we ever tried the Super F1 front suspension. I think we just made provisions in case we wanted to try it.

HPI Japan made the 12G cars but they were never imported to the US market. Save an eBay search, they might pop up sometimes.

what are the chances of HPI ever remaking some Universal 5 Star Front Wheels? with the little bearing adapter kit. those were amazing.

For buggies or trucks? You might be able to find them on eBay, Tower etc.

2125 Super Star MT Front Chrome
2175 Super Star MT Deep Offset Front Chrome
2205 Super Star Buggy Narrow Front Chrome
2245 Super Star Buggy (2"x1.36") Front Chrome

I think Mike, and many others, including myself, would like to see a release for buggies.

the original super stars are very hard to find now. If HPI spun up some molds to make matching front 2.2" the same as the the Chrome, Black, White and Gray sets you currently offer (which happen to fit some buggies, though they were originally intended for super nitro rs4), for example, part number 3033, I'm sure they would have a good demand. No-one really offers options for any buggies out there (past or present) that aren't boring old yellow or white disc wheels.

it would be nice to see the old school variety for buggies, like you see for all the trucks out there.

Kent-

On your 10L Tide car, the upper pod brace, is that the HPI one with all the small holes in the friction disk area?

Thanks.

No disrespect, but I question some of his claims. Sorry, but 4/5 word descriptions and a title just don't build my buying confidence. I am sure that will piss him off, everything constructive or not seems to do so.
i guess i will eat my words here lol
found this in a old RC car action, along with kents car to the left, march 89

I don't remember that ground effects car very well, but I seem to remember it was built around an RC10 buggy suspension. In my collection of chassis I have a ground effects chassis for an 10L with a smaller rear diffuser shown in those photos.

Here's an oldy that shows one of my first RC10L oval cars from around 1990. Before the 10LSS came out.

That is a great add, I still get a good laugh out of it! Look how sheepish Kent looks, great add thanks for showing!
