Great reading, and very nostalgic.
I don't suppose you have the Track Test summary mentioned at the end of the article?

Unfortunately not here with me. I should have it somewhere, but most likely it's in my parents attic. One day i'll finally clear my crap from their house (I only moved out 17 years ago ) If i find the issue i'll add it to this thread :)

Paul,

After reading this, I had a look around this morning.... long story short, I have the issue with me today.... if you're okay with it, I'll scan it and it to your thread.

Great reading. Thanks for posting the track test.
This car really was a dark horse in its day.
Equally as capable as the cat, it reminds me of the old Beta-max VHS battle.
For me, this car will always be king.

+1 on the Maxima being a great vintage race car

I like all the PB cars and even though the ACE seemed a little disfuntional in design by the time it was released it was also a very cool looking beast.

I have driven both my Mustang and Maxima plenty in recent times and they are both a nice drive even when raced in anger. I have limited my power plants to C027 stock motors but coupled with lipo cells and a descent esc these cars still get around very respectably.

GO TEAM PB!
