Ltd. Ed. Clod Alloy Wheels!

Post by toyranosaur »

A couple of months ago, a group on facebook contacted me about some new Clod Wheels. They said these are no really High-End, Sweet wheels out there, and the ones they do buy are not spectacular, and the same ones most guys already have. I was not into it at the time, but it turned out am image search on Google that day under 'Aluminum Clodbuster Wheels' had my original wheel from 15 years ago as #1 - A high rank for such a dinosaur, indeed. It was the same one shown in my Banner (Above.) One chap representing the group got me into the project, which had just started and will take some time to complete: However, I will only be making 100 sets total, and am letting my subscribers know about 'em with this Email.

They will be the sweetest wheels made for this truck, I only wish I had pics of the finished wheels! They are an Internal Beadlock with tube. Imagine the design plates re-machined after anodizing, so all the 45 degree angle cuts & nut details now picked out in Silver. Serial Numbered 1 through 100. Certficate of Authenticity. Color-Matching screw heads. These are NOT a 'Budget' wheel, made for discriminating builders only. Now when you post a shot of your rig, it'll REALLY stand out from the thousands of similar trucks. The finishing touch that your Baby is crying for. OK, so How to check this out?

I have consolidated everything in one thread on Scale 4x4.org. Here is the link, with all info, design pics, ordering info etc: http://www.scale4x4rc.org/forums/showthread.php?t=85018

Scope it out, and remember, only a Hunnert Sets of these babies MAX! I dropped the total to 70, but might make a few more depending- Either way, 100 Max: 70 sets are spoken for as of today 6-7, and it'll depend on orders over the next week as to the total so IF you want some.....

Cheers All, Chris Cazan REC

Serial #'s will be luck of the draw, to be fair to everybody! Looks like 11 sets to go, production looks to be 80 sets total as of right now...Chris REC

Chris, nice tasteful wheels. Did these get made? I know I’m late to the Clodbuster scene, but thought I would ask.

They haven’t been released yet. This wheel project has been daunting for Chris at Rogue. They should be ready soon

Awesome wheels !!

I can imagine the headaches of trying to coordinate different wheel designs, colors and wheel nuts.

Even though I'm not getting a set I still thank you.

Cheers 👍
