Ok so far I like it but I noticed most people said they had to find the posts and din't want to miss anything. Can't you just click on the veiw new posts and it will bring up all of them no matter what forum they are in? I actually like the new format, I can find stuff now.

I have a question, you have all the RC10s under Vintage, were should we post new or current RC10s like B4/T4 & BJ/B44 ?
Hi my name is Mike and I'm a Chromaholic, my wheels have been chrome free for over a year, thanks to everyone that made fun of them.

The older I get , the faster I was.

I did not notice the change until I looked for it.

I always go to "view active topics" when I log on - that shows all the new activity anyway. Only time I go to other sections is when I am searching specifically for something..........so for me - its great.....like nothing has changed (big ups for all the work though guys)

Cheers

i personally will never complain about someone posting up their b4, t4, etc. but just like doug said.... this is a vintage forum. so, we're not going to make a special section for them. just post them were they'd fit (b4-rc10 buggy, t4-rc10 truck). i just don't want to see it becoming an epidemic. then, there'll be issues. with me, anyway. i know people have newer cars and want to show them off. but..................... there are other forums for that.

just to add................ there's a 1:1 Traditional Hot Rod forum that i'm a member of. NOTHING newer than 1964 is allowed on that site, and they enforce that rule heavily. which in my opinion is great. i'm there to look at cars like 32 fords and tri-5 chevies. not 69 camaros and mustangs.

I have a suggestion.

Somewhere in the forum settings there should be a way to set up the links so that when you click them it opens in a new window.

Every time I follow a link a thread here I am taken away from this site.

I know its minor but, just figured I would let you know.

i looked into it. it's not an option on the new 3.0.0 version of the forum. it was on the old one. i guess there is a code that could be imbedded somewhere. but i'm not doing it. you do like being able to SEE rc10talk.com, right?

just right click on pics or links, then click on "open in new tab". problem solved.

Personally, I'd rather have links open in the same tab than a new tab or browser. It depends on the site, of course, sometimes a new tab is nice, but generally keeping things in one place is easier. If you're using FireFox, [ control ]-left click opens links into a new tab, or "left click" and select new browser. you can also set the browser preferences to open most things in the same tab, new tab, or new browser, whatever you prefer. There is also an extension for FireFox that duplicates a tab, which duplicates everything about the current tab - history and all.

One of the reason i really like this site was the simplicity unlike most sites were you need a manual to find stuff. So needless to say i like the old set up. Ryan

Simplicity in terms of the latest posts maybe, but you should look at it this way, membership, useful, and useless posts have increased, thus there was a lot of good information and photos that was buried in 15, 20, 30 pages and can take ages to find. The new format splits those up, in the hopes that they become easier to find and also maybe we won't have the same question asked 5 times. Readers can just use some common sense in wanting to read the subject matter based on Associated Vehicle Type or Other Manufacturers. You guys are a big part of it as well as that simplicity can also come from you all...... use your head when posting subject matter and be specific in the thread titles. There was thought and suggestions put into it (trust me) that has been discussed behind the scenes for about three or four months.
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.
