Finally getting around to updating this build thread. Hey, it's only been 11 months. I actually finished this thing up back in the spring, but I've been lazy when it comes to posting stuff here.
I set it up to use the shorty LiPos and installed some Associated / Reedy RTR-type electronics that I picked up on the cheap. It'll get run, but I'm not all that concerned with performance. My son and I are planning a trip to the track soon, so I hope to follow up with some dirty pictures.
I thought I'd post up these pics also, just in case someone finds them helpful. I tried all sorts of rear mounts for the Andy's Renegade body. The best solution I could come up with to deal with the angles on the rear of that body was a single tall post. It's an easy on-and-off fit. We'll see how it holds up on the track.
In admiration of 1300GT's 4wd SRB, I'm starting on my own attempt at building a similar car. I figured out a B4 slipper gearbox setup in this thread -
Now I'm mocking things up for the chassis. 2 3D printed replica MIP gearboxes, 3D Printed front...

Its virtually impossible to eliminate bump steer on a trailing arm 4wd car as the steering wants to be in front of the gearbox , whole thing is looking really good .
Now that the anodized parts for my ReRe projects are in, it's time to get building!
I think I have most of the parts on hand to complete this one except for the new Lunsford Worlds Retro turnbuckles I just ordered and maybe a few other little bits...

what rear shock tower is that I like the wing mounts?
The rear tower is just a short World's 3mm tower from RC Carbon Works. The wing mounts are from the B5M kit (91531).
...The car is gorgeous, very stunning. Love the colors.
Looks good! ...?...
Finally getting around to building this project. This is a buggy I have been wanting to build for awhile but other projects kept getting in the way. Base for this project is a nip A&L trailing arm conversion/ fiberglass chassis kit. I had a new...
Just finished this build over the weekend. The MIP kit showed up in a parts lot I bought off craigslist about a year ago. It was a nice find because I didn't know it was included. The only part that wasn't there was the shock tower (Thanks Shodog :D...

Do you have any pics of the tailing arm parts seperated out.
Sorry, I didn't take any pics of the trailing arms before I put it together. Was too excited to start building after I had the slots in the chassis cut.
Ok i am going to try to do an actual build thread lol, I always build things and post pics after the build (A&L build), I dont have all the parts to this build yet so im thinking that will slow me down and help with a actual build thread :)
Timing...

that car is hawt!
i bet it wouldn't last 4 minutes without bending something, but it sure looks cool as hell. nice shelfer for sure!
Hey guys, I singled out his buggy cause he said to fit the b4 body it required som serious tweaking. I was wondering people who have cut your pan, how much did you cut off. Like 1/4 inch?? Just wanna get a general idea on how much to cut mine....
