Announcing New Body Production

Post by mytimac »

Well today is the day to make the official announcement.

Sabula Tech / OLDRC.COM has taken ownership of a large lot RC body molds. They had previously been used by MRLEXAN, a member here on RC10talk.com. Most of them are original Bolink molds. There is also a couple Andys molds and a few reproduction molds.

It has taken many months to get everything ready, but we finally got the first 2 bodies run. More on the way over the next few months.

Here are the first 2 bodies available.

That's awesome! I had the xr4ti on my pan car. Any plans for more 12th scale bodies?

Oh yes many many more.

This current list of bodies was organized in April. But all sorts of things decided to cause problems and they kept getting delayed. I wanted them for Summer. But that clearly did not happen. If I had known this would just start getting done now I would have planned less off road and more 12th scale.

But as I also found with the reproduction XX bulkheads, things never go according to plan in manufacturing. Dates hardly ever get met when you want them.

Glad things are finally working out Daniel. Call it irony or whatever, but I myself will be ordering some as soon as they are available.

Hard to really tell by the pics, but it looks like you've kept quality in mind. Props for that!

All the best!

No problem.

Yeah that one I think will be cool. I had to get it done in the first batch.

I am toying with the idea to offer pre-orders on all the bodies not in first round, after the first round is made. That would help see who is interested in what and then move them accordingly in the order to run. What are peoples thoughts on that?
