JG Mfg. Original Production Templates and Parts Stock

Post by Romulus-10 »

JG Mfg. Lost Time Capsule of Original Production Templates and Parts Stock. We are looking for any JG catalogs or parts lists to catalog the parts properly. We will also be selling the parts stock so let us know if your looking for something. Mostly Oval and Truck Accessories as well as original JG Mfg. period Hardware. There was also a lot of Associated RC10 bulk parts, so i am guessing JG Mfg. was producing some parts for the RC10. Maybe Curtis Husting can let us know if this was the case. Also any help to idea I.D. The RC10 chassis with radio tray/upper chassis (Worlds style).

My JG RC10 A-21 front towers came with a set of 4-40 x 1/2" button head steel (or zinc) screws and lock nuts but the other towers I've had didn't come with any hardware.

The contents of my RC10 Monster Truck Conversion kit had the body mounts and posts individually packaged:
-the front body mount came with two 4-40 x1" socket head screws, two washers, and two lock nuts.
-the body posts package contained four 1" tall body posts, four 3/4" tall x 1/2" dia. nylon spacers/collars, four body clips, six 1/2" washers, and eight 8-32 flat head screws: two 2", two 1-1/2", two 1", and two 3/8".
-another package came with four foam body post spacers

The rear body posts also came with hardware but unfortunately I don't recall what the sizes were since I changed the hardware when I used the mount on my SRT. I think they were the same 4-40 x 1/2" button head screws and lock nuts that came with the A-21 front shock tower.

A couple of more things that might help:

The body mount part with the two RC10 oval towers was also sold as an RC10 monster truck rear body mount. It came with two modified RC10 aluminum wing tubes that were drilled and tapped at the top for 4-40 screws.

The A-20 fiberglass RC10 "Extreme Rear Oval Body Mount" came with four 4-40 x 7/8" socket head screws and four 1/2" x 1/4" dia. nylon spacers.

The Yokomo YZ10 Oval chassis in the 12th pic would have came with a kydex nerf wing for the right side and a graphite or G10 battery strap.

I could use an A-29, RC10 truck body mount/bumper if you have one.

Thx.
