We're all well aware that Alex is a deviant I'd hate to imagine what's on his PC
Deviant enough to build and collect vintage nitro Schumachers.... but only that deviant. I leave all the gooey stuff to you, Mr Peake.

So does a painted cage meet the Build of the Month Contest requirement of a "painted body"?

What about tires?

http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=98&t=35923

2) Submitted Vehicles MUST BE COMPLETE! It doesn't have to be outfitted with electronics, rollers are OK. But it MUST HAVE A PAINTED BODY.......

I hate being this guy, but if we are about the rules.........

We sure crucify folks with the B/S/T rules.

Hmmmmm.
Hope you're doin' something fun.

To: That guy

No worries, I reposted with tires officer TRX...

I would also say that if the point of the build was to have an open cage then yes it counts. I don't know, just my opinion. I'm new here so I don't want to upset anyone.
They asked me what I was thinking!? I simply told them... I wasn't.

Well, that is for your protection and everyone else that is granted admission...not about crucifying anyone with those rules.

As far as the cage...thats up to scr8p and the others. To me a Javelin is complete so I don't see why that sand rail is not complete as a roller.

I refer you to the May 2015 winner. Didn't seem to be an issue there.

For the record this is said to agree with you Klavy.

Yeah that was the initial plan but it didn't fit the cage as good as the good ol' Protech 1 which only required some cutouts to fit the cage perfectly as you see above.

I wouldn't change a thing! The Protech obviously provides greater cooling for the motor. That must get you an extra couple MPH down the straight.

Hey that's great. I'll be the first to admit that I'm a little ignorant with anything but vintage Traxxas stuff. I knew I'd get skewered with the cage question, but I had to ask, thanks for clearing that up for me.
AllenB.5979 wrote: Thu Feb 02, 2017 7:26 pm So... I was holding out a bit... Ya didn't think I would enter a build contest on bare rims did ya? :D

Yeah, I did think that, that's why I brought it up. You're welcome. It looks great now.

Awesome builds EVERYONE!
Hope you're doin' something fun.

I can see them fine. Nice pics!!

I use Photobucket as well, when I'm at work I cant see any photos hosted on Photobucket. This is because it is blocked on my company network.

They actually showed up shortly after I sent that. Maybe it was just a temporary thing or it could have just been something on my end.
