I see four votes on a simple car that came out of a 3D printer in 2018 - I think this is very disrespectful to the real builds.
This is a vintage rc RACECAR forum not a show facility for 3D printers.

Please do not think that I´m crying over lack of votes on my own build

Lots of amazing builds this month, but Shodog's rail stands above the rest for me.

A self-designed, vintage-inspired car for me totally has its place here. So does my non-race (but vintage!) car

It’s a bit border line if you’re a purist I reckon. My replica has a lot of printed parts as well and the whole chassis is also modern. You could also argue that these parts were never available etc. But anyway, we already have difficulties to find 10 entries each month and there is nothing at stake so let’s take it easy. Or maybe run a poll?

The title of the competition is "Build of the month" not "vintage build of the month" I'd say enter what you like , it will or will not get votes depending on the skill and craftsmanship of the build judged by the tastes of forum members and we are all vintage nuts ! , no need for upset .
Ultimately 3d printing is going to be the future of vintage , we all want that completely original car in mint condition but it becomes too prescious to drive and it sits on a shelf ! Half the joy is in driving these cars and 3d printing gives us a limitless supply of spare parts , at the moment our NIP parts are found in boxes at the back of closing down model shops , these will run out ,3d printed parts will not run out .
If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.
A problem shared is a problem halved but an advantage shared is no advantage at all.

what I have learned is that It ain't over till the fat lady sings. Back in the march 17 contest https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=98&t=41518 My buggy had a nice lead in the voting but in the end SHY's awesome hotshot took the win by one vote. in may of 16 https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=98&t=40190 Romulus's RC10T beat out my RC10T by one vote.
