This is my tribute build to the Original Racing Master 956 as featured in the 1985 Tamiya Guide Book. This car and the Toyota Toms 84c highlighted 1/12 on road racing in that book. I have the Toms on the RM2 chassis, but they’ve become so expensive so went looking for something also that I could fit the 956 body too with the iconic Rothmans Livery. Picked up a Kawada M300SR kit really cheap, fitted a Tamiya Formula Tuned brushed motor and HW1060 ESC with Injora LP servo. I’m quite happy with the result, having been able to complete the look from that Guide Book way back 40 years ago.

This is sort of a What's old is new but also a ReRe , this definitely could have been done and is inspired by the A+L trailing arm conversions , it uses ReRe Kyosho Scorpion rear trailing arms mounted to the back of a Yokomo 834b ReRe . This allows some camber change as the wheel rises plus a little toe in , looks pretty too . Up front I've transplanted the anti roll bar from the rear . All very much a possible configuration and who know maybe someone tried it . The car is an unashamed runner using a more modern electrical package , I could have fitted period gear for the photos but simply thought I'd be honest about where it's going . Hope you like it and good luck to everyone !

An insane Drillinator got his tools on this pitful Yoke. I would love to know if this was done intentionally. Or is this neighbour's revenge after fighting his dog too hard? I never will find out because this Fighter came to me already mistreated in 2018. I jazzed it up with nice electronics. World Champion stuff from Ralf Helbing and Gunther Mürdter: RH/HEL Tuning speedo. GMVIS battery. GM Evolution Team motor. Yes, there was more than LRP-electronic made in Germany. If you want, check out how it looked in condition as found, here:

Not super vintage but it's Associated first official 4wd buggy. This is an early kit which has been raced a couple seasons on carpet and put away just as you see it, there is still carpet fuzz in the wheels.

This is a recreation of my late 80s Blackfoot. I put it back to the specs i raced it like back than, including the Lemans 240ST motor. It was the golden era of rc and this was one of my more memorable rc vehicles. Display body includes 5 coats of automotive clear.
