A perfect project...

You know the RPS body isn't the same shape as the Delta Yok chassis made for the original Japan-spec car, right?

Hahaha thanks a lot, as for putting it together slow, I have been collecting parts for nearly two years and none of my projects move quickly! I just need to finish my other Yokes first and then this will be the icing on the cake. I believe I only need a CRP chassis and a Delta Desert Fox kit to finish the complete set of all the Dog fighters! I was going to run the Parma Unser body but as Eau Rouge points out;

good point, it doesn't line up very well so I might run an original Dog Fighter body or a Dahm's body...decisions decisions.... :?

Thanks you all for the compliments it really spurs me on to start/complete these things. This might just be a teaser for a while though as I am super busy busy with my thesis.... :roll:

P.S. Big thanks to Mrlexan for the Delta chassis and Roll bar and Shodog for the majority of the NIB standard parts and the rest of the Delta kit!

Nope I haven't my Phd and not having my own camera got in the way of this build :oops:

Because I need to have a camera and a lot of free time to do the build pics I haven't started!

My Phd thesis is to be submitted by September, so I am getting less and less time for this sort of thing.

However I have a free weekend and my girlfriends camera on long term loan so I might make a start on this...maybe. I have so much to do lately.

Allright!!! Another awesome early Yokomo build. That's an impressive collection of NIP Yok and aftermarket parts. Haven't seen that many together in 20 years. Wish I'd bought out that hobby shop's supply before they closed down. I hope you're gonna race this baby when you're done building.

This inspires me to get my SE back in shape. Need to put aside some $$$ for one of MrLexan's SE bodies, and an SE decal sheet. Gotta deal with chains again... :lol:

In the far reaches of my dim memory I recall seeing a belt drive conversion/chassis setup on an SE Yokomo at the local track back in 1987. Don't remember who manufactured the conversion. It inspired feelings of lust and envy in me, let me tell you... :mrgreen:
