Rims and Tires?

Post by mainesrc10 »

Hey guys, I have a rc10t3 and am looking into getting new rims and tires. Im looking for more of a street tire set up. Have seen lots of rims, but not sure which ones will bolt up. Any advice will be great. Thanks

Check the Proline, RPM, or JConcepts site. They all offer wheels for 3/16" Associated trucks. You can find all of their stuff online or at a Hobby Shop. RPM and Jconcepts both offer wheels other than the standard dish type.

any truck rim designed to fit associated trucks with a 3/16" rear axle will fit. all of the truck fronts are the same.

Cool thanks guys. I like the Relux's by JC. So what size tire would I look for?

I also noticed that four come in a package for around $11-$12. Is this for front and rear?

they come 4 to a pack. Four fronts or four rears

Like scr8p said about the fronts...they are all the same. I have t4 rears on one of my t3 so I know they fit but are a little closer than the t3 to the shocks. It is also not stock so I couldn't validate wether the t4 rears will fit a stock t3 if yours is a t3. But also like scr8p said they should fit since they are made for associated 3/16" rear axles.
Hope this helped.

How come they only have the yellow relux's for the front? No rears? And what is the quick exchange and will they work on regular 3/16 axles? Thanks

didn't realize they only had yellows for fronts. Might wanna check a little deeper into that one since I've had complete sets of front's and rears in white and in yellow. The quick change rears are for like the gt2 for sure that had the quick change hubs. They won't work with standard axles. You can make them work with a setup off of ebay for relatively cheap but not really needed unless you want something different than all the others. now that I type this I realize also that my rears were quick change in both white and yellow so a little more checking might come into play...
