Been feeling a little Blue - revisited lol
Ok so i got the sweet blue Old/New project from rick, I ordered some parts to complete it but have a problem, now i have built two of my own and did not have this problem, im not sure what is going on lol
I ordered
RPM RPM70272 Carriers
RC10 B44 Rear CVA Drive Kit ASC9756
Associated Alum Wheel Spacer B4/T4 ASC9608B
Custom Works Rear Wheel Spacer .125" CSW7208
This is the same setup i used on one of my black and green Old/New builds, One had the RPM carriers and one had the Losi carriers, Well i sold one, just so happens it was the one with the RPM carriers, SO now i dont have anything to compare it with, i would have thought i would have noticed this if the black and green car was like it.
Anyways....
With the CVA installed with two shims between the cva joint and the inside carrier bearing i dont get enough bite in the stealth drive cup, this is with the rear arms sitting just about flat (normal for my builds), then with the suspension compressed the lower side of the bone in just about out of the drive cup.
Any ideas?

I thought about that but looking at pictures the B4 has the cup on the bone, B44 has the cup on the axle lolCharlie don't surf wrote:Just get the new b4 bones..nvxwax wrote:Well crap lol, I thought they were the same as dynotech lol, i guess i have to get some new cva's lol,scr8p wrote:you bought b44 cva's using arms designed for b4 cvd's. they're longer.

I see they got your problem answered. yes you will need the B4 bones for these arms, they were designed to work with B4 CVDs.
Can't wait to see it together.

Glad I read this thread, I would have fallen into the same trap since I have a set of Jake's arms too.bigjeepzz wrote:I see they got your problem answered. yes you will need the B4 bones for these arms, they were designed to work with B4 CVDs.
