Fantastic news! Thank you.

By the way are your alternative LRM diff bearings, part # A-6901, 3/32" thick or 1/8" thick??? The ones I have are the wrong size and cause the diff to bind.

Do the thin SS bearings that measure 3/32" thick still exist or are they nearly impossible to obtain?? I guess the alternative is to slightly ream out the male and female diff halves to accommodate the thicker bearings.

MARVELOUS mention!! Appreciated. Added to my must have list. Thanks again.

Great work btw! i been trolling your build. MORE please.

For using the flanged bearings did those red steering arms have a fitment for them? I have a red set but it does not have bushing space at all...supposed to just slid into posts flush.
Glad to be back in this hobby so many many years later. To see new things and to recollect on ALL cool vintage models!

Sorry, almost forgot.....regarding the steering arms, yes the ones that I have, have a recess to accommodate a flange - hence my reason for using them. If you're interested, here's a link to the bearings that I used:

Well, it's time for an update.

Here's where the project sits right now. Front shocks have been installed (dry at this point) as have the front tie-rods and camber links using some Lunsford Titanium turn-buckles and RPM short ball cups. RPM HD side bulkheads have been fitted in the hope that I can get to finish off the 5-Link rear suspension and finally the hard-to-find RPM Hydra-Drive gear cover has also been installed.

I'm also on the lookout for the RPM chassis brace as this has a much nicer look to it (IMO).

The rear H-arms have been assembled but at this point I'm still not quite sure which way to go. I would love to go 5-Link but the absence of part # A-5010 puts me off as I don't want to have the Jr. sat around unfinished waiting for the lower rear shock mounts to appear.....I guess I can but live in hope!
