Tale of two JRX-Pro SE's (1992 stock & race)
So I've been on a Losi kick lately- I've had this perfect example of a JRX-Pro SE for I guess 3 years I acquired from MrLexan
But...the best thing about the Pro-SE was the "works" versions that the Losi camp used to race. So, I just nabbed this via the bay So now the first one is going to get a race-massage treatment, with full Trinity/Novak/Tecnacraft-sponsored support (plus some other goodies) and the NIB one will get built, in all-stock form for a "two for one" thread...

Looking forward to seeing pics of these as they progress - the ProSE shell is a great shape - so slim & sleek, definately one of my favourite Vintage Losis... but the one that elludes my collection!

I think I bought it via your eBay account. I'll put up some pics of the goodies for the race version tonight. There will be some massaging of the chassis, the trans case and some other stuff to the motorplate...so it won't be a 3-4 year build, but a few months (I hope!) Need to pick a wheel color on the race version too-

NIB Jrx-Pro SE...nice find!
I wish I had of raced the Jrx cars, having only started when the XX arrived, I feel like I missed out on a whole chapter in the history of Losi

I vaguely recall it now Reg. I don't think it was through ebay, I think you just asked me if I had one. If you are going with the Pro style wheels, let me know what color, I have a few different sets I was gonna part with very soon. It's all in the same box.

Jeff, I think it's the mobile link issue, if you don't have the eBay app $450 for an opened kit plus $50 shipping is pretty steep IMHO

Nice to see the Pro SE getting some love around here lately. It was my first real race car that I bought with my Christmas money in January of 1992.
I remember it being so smooth and easy to drive right out of the box. A great car. Looking forward to the builds.

Yep, me too! Now that I've built a Junior 2 I wish that I had had the opportunity to race it before the XX came along! Ah, well......jamin wrote:NIB Jrx-Pro SE...nice find!

Nice to see that kit landed with someone here, and for a reasonable price too!. I had been watching that closely last weekend, but couldn't get myself to pull the trigger after having received a new project in the mail last week (dyna storm). I wasn't sure how I'd sell it to the wife.
Good score!!!
Oh... what can you share about the shock bodies? I was expecting to see hard bodies, but the picture shows what appear to be the earlier bodies...?
