On mid 1980s vintage 1/8 cars in particular (on or off road, such as PB, Siccom, Robbe etc) you often had cars with white plastic bumpers. Often it was simply a flat or bent sheet of white plastic, of around 3mm thickness. Clearly this material had to be very tough. Does anyone have an idea of what sort of plastic this may have been?
Thanks
Vintage 1/8 white bumpers - material?

Re: Vintage 1/8 white bumpers - material?
Hi,
as Pascal said, nylon is the material, but nylon is polyamid and when you go to a dealer you get pretty cheap polyamid.
Hope the name in english is also polyamid like in german... but I think so.
