Project: Refined Ten4
I had an anonymous member commission a build. He wanted the chassis anodized in a "Hot Trick Red" as well as a few other requests like the Lunsford titanium.
On this Ten4, I decided to use the cut noseplate in short wheelbase mode. This leaves the steering cranks requiring holes to be drilled in the chassis (and since we were anodizing it was no problem) but it also creates elevation problems. I decided to make an adapter plate. This gives us a template for drilling, spaces the cranks, and provides secure steering servo mounts.
He also requested a brace system like the old A&L. Well, on a Ten4 there isn't much real estate! I came up with this version that will allow a shorty pack or a full size, and will clear both servo positions.
My local anodizer knocked the color out of the park. This is burgundy, and we had them brite dip it as well, which is a chemical polish.
Anyway, here are the pics! I hope you enjoy

Looks awesome, but why a short wheelbase? Doesnt that generate problems for the body and belt length?

Re: Project: Refined Ten4
Oh white belts would be interesting! Hmmm
Thanks for the compliments guys! It was a fun build and the buyer is anonymous to you but I have his shipping address. I actually don't know his username here so it could be anyone

Wow, that's beautiful! Nice work Jeff!
You can build a Ten4 in either short or long gone WB, only a couple minor differences from one to the other.
