We all know nitro has been dying for years but outside of 1/8 buggy racing is nitro still continuing to die, has it plateaued, or is it dead? Does anyone see anybody playing with nitro cars? The Tra**as line-up used to be dominated with nitro offerings and has been reduced to only seven, and without an IC touring car even to be seen.
Electric performance is far superior but it's still fun to tinker with and run nitro cars......
theres a few die hards out there. I'll find the occasional nitro thread on facebook and its nice to see some more rc10gt and rc10nds threads showing up spuradically here. One of the LHS close to me still has nitro classes but like you stated...mostly 1/8 scale buggy. Last time I was there the consignment had a bunch of stuff but nothing nitro. Not surprising though as there really is no support for nitro around me anymore now that the LHS sold out last year...

honestly i think the RPM cups get sloppy after only a few runs. the jconcepts ones are better... ...as far as turnbuckles... in titanium, i think lunsford is the only game in town now lol

Frankly I knew nothing about it, got a nice deal on this one and I am very intrigued by the car. Appears it never really caught on or has a not so great rep. All I know is it sure is hopped up from the factory and seems ahead of it's time at least...
There isn't enough going on here in the Losi section so I thought a good discussion of the hydradrive would be welcome. While I have owned one, I never drove it. It was on an LXT that I had bought on a whim then later sold when I got buyers remorse....

If I recall, you filled it by removing the white nylon plug screws on the outboard side. Putting fluid in one opening until it ran clear and bubble free through the other. Then you reinstalled the scews/plugs. Could you simply remove one plug and...
