sorry but the pargue arms are not a option in my book. its a big fail. if you need to mod a "bolt on" part its not the right part and its just a high $ rig part . so sad i started this ? 4 years ago and no real answer to this problem.

I hear Rouge Element Components has some arm mounts coming soon. Would aluminum mounts increase the chance of damage to the screw holes in the chassis?

yeah, they probably would, and there is evidence of that happening from members on the forum. If they are made, they should be nylon or delrin.

Dynotech acted like they were going to do it but instead they just make arms .. in my mind its stupid that alot of people make other parts but no rear arm mounts(rear arm mounts are the only part that ive broke many times on rc10/t rcs).. another problem is people want tilt and toe in.. this not only makes this process harder but then people are asking for different specs.. if someone stops looking at the stock arm mounts i think this can get done.. make a single, centered mounted(stock is offset dual mount)rear arm mount with 0 degree tilt and toe..this way you only have to design 1 rear arm mount cause both sides will be the same part. the real cool part about this is if you bought 2 sets and you bust the right mount 2x you have 2 spares ..does everyone understand what im saying? i know ive been goin on about this alot i just hope the right person gets this info...

Your actually describing a zero degree Traxxas rear arm mount
like the one used on Nitro rustlers SRT and TRX-3

Guys that are regularly breaking them are racing them and need both antisquat and toe built in. Neither is that difficult with fixtures or CNC programs.

Why do you need toe built in? There are lots of hub carrier choices.

I would probably buy several sets if they were 3 degree toe-in AND made in Delrin. No 3 degree, I'm not really interested in any at all. For racing them, its better to have the toe at the mount and have zero at the hub. Its not like I'm going to build shelfers with them. I would much rather use the real thing for a shelfer and in that case, 0, 1.5, 3.0 does not really matter unless its an exact spec box model.

I might be interested in the coolness factor of aluminum for a shelfer that is not built all original spec. and also in that case, it does not matter what degree they are. The Rogue aluminum stuff has some coolness for sure!

To me the ideal solution isn't to find someone willing to CNC 50-100 parts out of delrin or aluminum with the hopes of selling them at $20-30 a pop, but instead to find someone willing to CNC an injection mold for the parts, send that mold to China to get a short run of 500-1000 parts produced at $1-$4 a piece, then turning around and selling them for $6-$8 a pop.


Just like how aftermarket parts used to produced for the RC10.

I like that idea too!!
