Interested in the rear arms, tensioners, sliders, and the roll bar mounts. BTW, I finished designing a new rear tower for the Bosscat/Procat/etc. Will be machining a few soon. LMK what $$ you are looking for for the parts. And/or if interested in trades. -Jeff

Selling my only spare MMS front diff...

need some help with steering lock

I was setting the EPA (end point adjustment) for the steering servo on my Procat and I noticed that before it reaches full lock the front hubs vibrate violently, especially at lower speeds. Is this inevitable with the old driveshaft joints? Should I set the EPA so it doesn't reach this point? How much steering do you get on your Procat or Bosscat before this shaking occurs e.g. 45/50 degrees? Thanks!

Well, yes this is because of the amount of steering throw these cars have. I typically will set up the steering radius on my 4wd cars to have a low speed turning radius of around 4-5 feet. This is good starting point for steering throw, because it allows one to setup the car with ample corner speed. More throw than this, and you will end up setting up the car with too much throw, and the corner speed will be slower because of tire scrub. See where the wheels are with 4 feet (approximatelly) of steering radius and let us know what you find. I found that the UJ's do tend to break in a bit though over time. Also, you should always adjust your steering throw with end points (as you stated) and not your Dual Rate. -Jeff

These rare transmission goodies can be yours... I run just the same in my Procat racer (I just hope I don't break those coz I'll have none spare

)
Updates to follow: upgraded to rear Works suspension, found some reasonable Abec 5 ceramic rubber sealed bearings and got rid of the 27mhz at last.

Slipper's gone but the diff is still available. This is a seriously good diff and is one of the best ways to upgrade your transmission. Fits all early Cats e.g. XLS, Procat and Bosscat. I've no more once it's gone!
Keep watching for posts on my latest upgrades i.e. Works rear suspension, alloy front gearbox brackets, Abec 5 rubber sealed ceramic bearings, alloy layshaft bearing housings and Procat belt cover.
