not sure what you are using the 5/32x5/16 bearings for?

front and rear axles on these cars are 3/16" unless you are talking about 1/4" axles?

I am thinking the hex adaptors for the rims are for 1/4" axles. The RC10 in the ebay add is a six gear. RC10sprinter says he used B4 diff bearings not hub bearings. Hell maybee I am just getting confused. :? For the front rims I think I am going to use CRP 5mm axles and 5x8 bearings .

No, I SEE now, you are right. the smaller bearing is for the threaded portion of the 1/4" axle. it's a #8 thread, which is marginally larger than 5/32". probably fits OK because the threads are slightly undersize. the thing that had me confused was it didn't dawn on me that the thread size was close to 5/32". By all rights it shouldn't fit if the threads were high tolerance, a bushing would be a looser fit.

SO...the wheel has a 5/16" inner diameter. with the hex in the rear, and a 5/32" x 5/16" bearing in place, the wheel should fit on a 1/4" axle no problem.

sorry for the confusion, please carry on.

Wow, I messed that one up on the front bearings. Sorry..

Front 3/16 x5/16 flanged.
Rear. 5/32x5/16 unflanged.

That is correct. That is what I have.

My cars are only shelf queens so I used some hard rubber black 0 rings as spacers. Same size as red shock o rings. seem to work fine, but I wouldn't race with them.

I'm quoting myself cause I still want to know. :) The front wheels need some sort of spacer on the back, are you guys stacking up washers? or putting an extra bearing back there.
Quote of a quote of a quote. This time with a picture. :) I really want to know what everyone is spacing the front wheels with, are you putting an extra bearing behind the wheel??? washers???, Bushings???? something else???? Are my wheels the only ones like this? Also what about the spacers to make the wheels wider. Anybody using them? Using them on the front? Using them on the rear? I didn't use any and can only get these 2 row spikes to look good on them.

This is so cool! I never try this on my black pan rc10. I should keep one for myself.

So can anyone summarise what they have done to fit these wheels to their cars so it can be easily seen in one post (rather than trawling through the whole thread)?

Negative, I'd rather have another 8 pages to sift through.

I know it's lazy of me, but a single post (or at least condensed thread) would be useful reference point for everyone going forward.
