Lol gotta save some for the magazine but video should be ready tomorrow. Results need to have some time to put together but I'll get to them soon. Like Melvin said, best way to see pics is to come to the race :)

Internal hard drive (my feeble brain)

Seriously, I have lots of pics, probably start uploading them tomorrow night after I get to work.

Best way to promote a race experience is through positive feeling like pictures of the great times following the event in a timely manor. Seriously, I can't tell you how many people can and or will feel left out if they had a terrific time and its not shared, the race can be over for a week but the buzz should still be fresh, why let it cool off?- just my humble .02

Hey Guys,

I haven't been around at all for the past year or so, due to say the least, unforseen circumstances, but I usually keep up with this thread and enjoy looking at the pictures and videos.

I heard that the turnout was lighter than expected but fun was had by all that attended... I truly wish I could've contributed and attended to this year's event, hopefully next year...

Kaiser,
Three of the past 5 Vintage Nats 2wd Class Champs were RC10talk members:
2008 -- Tim Covell -- RC10talk
2009 -- Kyle Rhodes
2010 -- Stephen Maizer
2011 -- Tim Covell -- RC10talk
2012 -- Brandon Giles -- RC10talk (lucky I wasnt there)

So the 2wd buggy Champ has been home at RC10talk....

Last year we promoted this event like crazy, even more than previous years, and yet the # of entries was less than in previous years. Personally I posted pictures and videos, on a whole bunch of sites and facebook, and it really didn't help motivate anyone....what motivated people to show was good old fashioned "word of mouth" and "hype"....... 8)

With some of the international guys showing interest in showing up for next year's VONATs, let's get a big number for next year's event....

BTW --
I spent my VONATs weekend in the Hospital with a Deep Vein Thrombosis in my trigger arms..... :D I don't think I could have made it...

Well, I've been pretty busy since getting home from CT. As usual, Erich put on an awesome event! Easily the most fun I have racing all year! It was good seeing all of my 10talk buddies once again.

Props for the Bethel Racearena locals for getting the track done and making it a true vintage track. A crew was out there all weekend to take care of sweeping, watering, and any fixes that needed to be done. Great job guys!

Erich had organized with many manufacturers to donate a number of awesome door prizes. He just kept on coming out with more and more boxes of stuff! Enough so that they had to recycle the entry tickets 3 times over! EVERYBODY walked away with some very nice prizes.

Thanks for all those who attended. You make the race what it is. For those who simply could not make it, you were definetely missed! For those who chose not to go, you missed out on a good one. Maybe next year!

I will be posting pics as I have time. Since I entered in 3 classes a majority of my pics were of Classic class and practice. Enjoy!

Lots of fun with the charity race! At first only the kids seemed excited to participate, but when the adults finally gave it a try, it got pretty competitive! Congrats to Reinaldo for the quickest lap time and the win of the RC10B4.1 FT! They raised $150 to donate to the Diabetes foundation in Steve Semeraro's name.

That was one tough Sand Scorcher!

The Russian judge came in with a low score of 7.2 even with the "stuck" landing. :)
