R.I.P Gene and deepest condolences to the Hustings family, truly a legend lost.

Rest in peace Gene. There are precious few people like you. We were extremely lucky that you chose to pursue one of your loves and passions! Thank you for all you have done to further our hobby. You will be sorely missed.

RC is such a wonderful hobby/obsession/way of life. I truly believe my life is better because of it, and your father was such a huge part of that. Although I never had the honor of meeting your father, and I'm sure he didn't even know I existed, I feel as though I have lost an old friend.

He will never be forgotten. His legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of all of us who were lucky enough to benefit from his wonderful contributions to this wonderful hobby we all love so much.

Just noticed the bad news about passing of Gene. The RC community lost another legend.
My condolences to the Hustings family.

Thank you all so much for all your kind words and prayers. Today was my Dads funeral and so many of you came to pay their respects. I heard so many great stories of my Dad. He touched so many peoples lives . It was truly amazing to hear from so many people. I feel truly blessed to be his son and have such a big RC family around the world.
