What an outstanding guy he seems to be. It doesn't look like all the fame went to his head. Nice pictures!

i'm on facebook, but don't spend much time on it at all. i don't remember why i even started an account. all i ever do is approve the occasional friend request, that's it. but anyway, i got the idea to send masami a friend request in hopes of getting better pics of this car. i
really didn't want to bug him about it, but he got right back to me and told me he'd snap some pics when he had time. couple days later, he sent me pics of his W.C. 1/12 from '88.

i probably wasn't real clear in exactly what i was looking for, but appreciated those pics none the less. so, i replied back stating i was looking for the buggy from the same year (and same ko propo ad). next day, he sent pics of this buggy. they were in my spam box since wednesday and didn't see them until last night. it's not the exact car i was looking for, but i also don't want to keep bugging him about it. i'm sure he's a busy guy.

I see rear toe in I believe.
EDIT: Maybe not. Hard to tell in most pics. I'll take your word over mine.

my profile pic on facebook is one taken right after i got most of my hair cut off 3 years ago, and donated it to locks for love. i haven't had my hair cut since. so, right now i look alot more like jesus christ than i do a pedifile.
plus, i don't own a beat up work van with no windows.

I know its been a while since this thread has been posted on... But for the record, Masami is very dilligent to make sure his fans/friends are taken care of. I doubt it bothers him at all to be bothered for pics or at least you will never know if it does... I asked him one time for a copy of the video of him paralell parking a r/c car... Not only did he get me that video, he made a complete video CD of everything he ever did on Japanese TV, signed it and gave it to me (In person) thanking me for wanting it. This was the second most honorable thing ever done for me in my time racing R/C...
The First:
His first time attending the Cactus Classic was in 2007 right after Dawn and I had bought SRS... When he showed up, I thanked him for coming and asked if he had ever been to Cactus. His reply was no and he went on to thank me for inviting him to come. He said he came for 2 reasons; "One, most important, you asked me and two, I have never been Cactus." Will never forget that.
My point is, the people that do things honoring him are at the top of his list to take care of.

Haha... I find myself trying to complete all of them at the same time... I have to train myself to concentrate one at a time... Probably won't happen. To often when something stalls while trying to find a certain part or needing something, I find something for another project and my focus moves to that.
I can only assume its no different for others? Or do I just have ADD?

No, its the same with everyone I know- I go in phases, stock builds, 6 gear cars, graphites, etc- right now I am stuck on finishing my Masami WCS, my Harai JMRCA car and my Steve Chamberlin 91' car. Then, its back to stock stuff for a while.

I'm in the same boat, and it seems to be sinking, with all the projects building up!

a year later.....
i felt like working on this a bit today. shortened the wires for the on/off switch and sorted out the battery and motor leads. i'll see if i can get a battery pack together tomorrow. i still have to get a 6 gear trans put together for it, and when i take the mip trans out to swap them, i'll drill and counter sink the holes so i can install a rear motor guard. i'm also having a hard time chopping up a nip yoke front bumper for this so i may just make one from scratch.
