Yes it is the later version. Where did you find one NIP

Ebay... offered him $100 shipped and he turned it into a Buy it now for me ending the auction early!
Not too sure what to do with this one yet. It isn't the early version like the Novak NESC 1 I have in my Halsey build right now, which is the correct version, only used.

Picked up a NIP Futaba FP-S131S the other day. I'm pretty confident this is the correct servo. Notice the white silicone around the wires in the original Halsey picture?

This is how the servo came new!
Yes, I know I already have a S131S in there already, but I'm always looking to improve my build and it was hard to turn down the opportunity to buy a new one for $20!
Also did a little resto on an Airtronics XL 2P radio. I had a donor radio and combined the best parts of both radios
Started with this...
And finished with this...

I got nothin!
My only contact for him is through the Jammin website. I tried sharing my build and story a couple of times. I doubt it ever got to him though.

Jay had Jason's car in his hands for a photo op, and if I remember correctly photo'ed next to the WC trophy? Either way he was quite nice to deal with (as every retired pro that has been here has) might just be communication issues-

I think I may have finally gotten the opportunity to share my build/story with Jammin Jay!
So stinking excited that he may be able to see what I've done.
Hope to make him proud!!!!!

"Hello Jason
Thank you for contacting me. What a sad but great story.
I am honored and flattered that you took the time to build the car....it looks great.
I went back and looked at videos -the transmitter I used was an Airtronics.
If I can be of any help...just email me.
Thank You,
Jay Halsey
Jammin Products"
My day is made!
