I would hope so. He said a tube bumper would be cheaper, but still costly at $225 and he also has a sweet light bar for the roof for $75. I just keeps adding up that's for sure.

I wouldnt want to pay that for my real truck. I have a 89 Bronco I am makeing a off road trail rig out of. on the very cheap

Got some more done while waiting on my aluminum wheels. Installed my Yota steering wheel from Dinky, Got me a fire extinguisher, Hi-Lift jack, some shovels and an axe, and some black seats. More importantly, I got myself a "project box" from Radio Shack. I managed to cram the esc, BEC, light box and receiver all inside. My with is always amazed on how I can fit so much in a tight spot

Once I get a motor I can start on the wire length and might as well wait til then to fit the battery wires to reach the front where the battery will sit too.

I got the 13t with the ceramic bearing upgrade. I almost got the 11t, but didn't want to push the limit with this rig with all the money I got invested in it so far.

thats a really nice Motor. I went with the Venom motor and ESC combo.

Have you ran a Venom system before, I was wondering how they were? I was thinking about getting a 10.5 brushless system for a RC10 but hadn't been able to get to buying it lately.

I have ran this system in my SCX10 Bronco its really slow but has unbeliveable torque and power. just no topend its more like a Billygoat it will climb anything.

So, it's ideal for a scale truck. I would imagine the brushless system with the appropriate motor would be alright for a RC10 then.

Here the latest on my Wraith...since everyone and their sister has told me that spending $225 on a custom bumper with incorporated chassis mount servo for my build is retarded (not my words, but) I decided to see what it would cost for a classic Toyota tube bumper would cost.

I tried and fail miserably to build one myself out of a solid aluminum rod Mine isn't square, the spacing is too far apart, and the best part is that I don't know anyone to weld aluminum to attach the 2 horizontal pieces to the vertical pieces, lol. I don't think tape will do. If I stay with this kind of bumper I still have to pay $17 for a Vanquish chassis mounted servo kit and $23 for shipping to Canada, lol. Shipping to Canada from American stores is just plain stupid. I could sell off one of my RC10s to pay for building this thing, but I'm not that desperate yet.

As great as that truck looks it needs a nice bumper on the front. but 250.00 is a lot, I bet you could make one I am going to try and make one from steel. I cant weld Aluminum but I can steel.

It's lots cheaper & looks pretty close to me..

I've seen that too but I'm quite sure it's too wide.

I beleive its the same with as the one on my Bronco

It looks too wide. Can you measure it? The bumper at the tip of the page has got to only be a few inches wide
