Also spent a few dollars on my leftover parts Stampede. New wheels, front shock bodies and springs, and some random parts. I think I'm up to around $25 on on.

Unfortunately, the tires and body will each cost as much as the rest of the truck.

I took some piles of parts and put them together. I like them better together.

I asked Parma if they might start making the Prelude PAR99007 body again. I really like that body. The answer was Yes 👍

That's a sweet a body. I want one. It'll give me a reason to pick up another RC10.

Made a new battery hold down out of 16 gauge steel after shattering both of mine at the track. Would have preferred aluminum, but the steel was scrap I had laying around.

Bought out by Mid American Slot products and have been slowly bringing stuff back. I think the go by requests, when I asked for a grasshopper body it was less than a week and I had one. Then they popped up on the website

Hey Jeff, ask them to do the original truck body to suit the Schumacher Shotgun and Nitro 10...... that'll be a good seller :)

Finished off a cheap and cheerfully rocky restoration
I got most of this car and a few raider bits with a lazer a while back
Threw it under the bench, but decided to clean it up.
I filled some holes with glass sheet, fabricated a kydex battery retainer for shorty lipos using servo posts and factory holes.
Also replaced all the screws and fitted optima cvds with some mods.
The wheels and tyre's were already glued from another deal.
The motors a 14 double which is a little quick to be honest.
Heaps of room in the bathtub chassis if you run an esc.

Not 100% RC, but half lol. Decided to rearrange my collection cabinet. Until I gain an office back through a kid moving out (jokes on me I guess, we got one back from college instead!) So for now this is my allotted square footage for toy displaying! I added the 10L, Halsey and Nova Fox, so extra shelves and while it’s all out, rearrangement.

Dirtmaster X2
Dirtmaster X2
It’s been pretty RC filled the last few days.
The Dirtmaster builds for my nephews, this is where 12 hours of effort got me. It’s the finishing details now.
Overall they’re pretty nice cars though, those plastic shocks feel a lot better than I initially gave them credit for.

Bodies are cut and mounted, hoping to shoot paint after Christmas travels.

Those look like nice kits! My daughter got her boyfriend his first RC car for Christmas and I had to pick for her. I looked at those but ended up going with the Tamiya sand viper because it fit her budget better. He’s a mechanical engineering student, so as much as he’ll enjoy running it, we are hoping he will enjoy the build too. I just hope it holds up ok, not like he’s gonna do grade school kid damage to it, I think lol. Those Kyoshos definately look like they have a one up on the material quality, but they are definitely both aimed at similar markets. We shall see what happens.

Merry Christmas everyone!
