this thread makes me laugh, man there are some real works of at here.
here is my contribution
the motor plate isn't finished yet, it's going blue after I smoothen it out a bit more.

sorry, your contribution is not worthy of this thread: only silly ones are allowed in

With one of the chassis of this thread, I would become crazy: how can you recognize the screws holes when all you have is holes ?
Surely mutch more setups than in standard chassis!!!!

I think you are right, my chassis is not cheesy enough for this thread

maybe i will go drill some hole in it to fit in with the crowd, NO just kidding, I wouldn't do that.
Although that was the original plan. I wanted to drill several 1/2" holes in it before getting it coated, I think I will leave it now though

I think you don't need to lighten it at all with the new motors, and you can shave of alot by using lipo anyway. Pleasedon't make holes inthe bottom : they will only raise the center of gravity

Mr. ED's Comment was the best reason for not to drill holes in to chassis that I have ever heard!

in my point of view, these holes are absolutly necessary for electronic cooling!!!!!
It creates an air flow internally.
Asso missed really something on this chassis.

I never had a heat problem when running an undrilled gold pan. Your electronics are setting on a big heat sink.

i think the main reason for drilling the holes is to look cool

maybe more cool than the electronics. there probably is a very minor effect with modern electronics. i wouldn't know anyway, i don't have one to post

The more holes in your car, the cooler you are!

they'd have to be 9 mm holes if you wanna be taken serious

1/2 inch here in the states is a good size but you can go bigger under the right circumstances.

in canada we go both ways

depending on which industry you are in

either way the bigger or more you had, the cooler you were
