Fred, so what are you saying, your long rear arms don't work with b4 cvd's? I ordered a set of these arms last week...

They do in the forward position. In the rear position they are too short. Even in the forward position longer ones could definitely fit. I've thrown in a note update in the part description in Shapeways. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have an X Factory part number update.

Glad i didn't buy b4 cvd's then, I'm going to run these on my mid motor car that i have set as lwb on the rear...

I didn't realize the out drive difference until someone asked me about it. I've got the B4 cvd's on mine and wanted to run the long wheelbase and found the issue. Incidentally if you look at the original 6 gear vs the Stealth, the 6 gear outdrives are spaced wider too. I'll try to call Chaz at X-Factory today and ask him how much longer the X6^3 shafts are. They use B4 gears on their own rear arms on that car and needed slightly longer cvd's. If I made a set of arms that allowed the B4 cvd's to work in the long position, the wheelbase would be narrower than we want. It's a slight issue but will be easy to resolve.

I'm not 100% positive, but I thought X Factory recommended the BK2 CVD axles, so you could space the dogbone in as needed. That was early on though, prior to the X6 squared.

I'm using the B4 Hubs, B4 CV's, and Re-Re Stealth Outdrives.. I have ZERO issue with the length of the driveshaft to outdrive plunge.

I do not have my car at home, bcz I left it at the shop for the paint to cure all wknd..
I need to get pics and measurements up for you, like ive been saying I would. The Re-re stuff is different.

Look back at the pics I posted. Those pics were with your arms, B4 Hubs, Original rear arm mount, and mounted in long wheelbase.. I even noticed that I actually had the Hex installed incorrectly. I am not supposed to be using the axle shim under the drive pin. I don't think I need any adjustment of axle shims, but if I wanted to, I have probably ~2mm to move inward if I wanted too.

I did think that the Re-Re Outdrives looked a lil longer that the orig stealth drives.. I'll have my chassis parts back Tues for a full re-assembly

Those axles move the CV joint 2mm more inward. I tried them a long time ago on my B4 bcz I wanted more down travel. I might see if I can find them for more down travel on this project.

I need to go double check to make sure I've got the current arms installed and not one of the prototypes. The first version were a little longer. It still looks like there's room for a slightly longer cvd.

Yup I had an earlier version installed. They all look alike! the B4 cvd's worked fine in either arm position.

Just ordered a set of front and rear arms! 1st parts Ive bought for my RC10, since the early '90s! Got tons more to order and Im sure Ill have a few question!

Fred, reminder since I said it on RCTECH and not here...B4 'new' style carriers with the large bearings, but with the hinge pin already at 1/8" please also keeps all the suspension parts white.

I know! I've just been a bit busy this week.
