Wow... Those are some nice cells. I figured they were the cheap nicad we see on Amazon. I've built a couple packs from them, they work and can't beat the price but not much for run time

Nooo....no. These are Panasonic (Japan) cells. They bought Sanyo's NiCd business years ago...you can still find some old stock branded Sanyo cells...but they're mostly Panasonic now. The NC2500SCR is the highest capacity fast charge (SCR) sub-C cell available.

Took my B4 basher out for some street running. The Traxxarse XL5 ESC sometimes wouldn't allow reverse. I remember that's been a problem before with this ESC. I think I need to replace it with one of the $5 Spektrum units I got (thanks for the tip juicedcoupe).

Love the original B4 rtr body in blue, it's my favorite of the B4 rtr bodies. Do we have a basher thread? If not we need to create one! I know everyone has something that they bash.......

Meanwhile I had to turn off reverse on the XL-5 of the Rally because sometimes braking at the end of the straight it'd reverse instead of braking and cause me to roll over entering the first turn

Shocks and turnbuckles. Such a cool looking car with the Ten4.1 kit added.

Recently put up a small shelf in the house for my wife. She said we could share it and all she wanted to put on it was a nice wooden mother mary statue. I asked, "So I could put anything else up on the shelf?" and she replied "yup". She basically gave me free range so I took it and ran with it.......

I needed a 3mm tap and the hardware store didn't have one that small. So I went to my LHS. I ended up teaching the friendly but clueless young 'un what a threading tap was and showing him where they have them. But he was thankful for both lessons so it was worth overpaying for it there.

Actual question I got the other day regarding removal of an oil drain plug: "excuse me, sir, you gotta second? Which way do I need to turn this to get it out?"

The plug washer was smash-smeared and wavy from turning the plug in the wrong direction before he asked. But he asked. So there is hope. And I gotta remember my old man had to tell me which direction to turn stuff way back when.

They are cheap on Amazon.

You can probably buy a set for what the LHS wants for a single one.

Yes they are cheaper on Amazon. I don't know how good or bad the quality is for the Dubro, but a Drill America tap was the same price on Amazon and they are usually ok quality. I wanted it yesterday, literally because this was yesterday  , and I was throwing a couple $ at the LHS.
