That looks awesome Erik, I really like the Funco body, total retro look! Some naked pics would be interesting before seeing it live in September 8) Keep up the good work mate!

Erik you realy crap me up man---   . I truly admire your spirit mate. You build some of the most interesting cars ive ever seen and its even cooler that you race them. There's nothing cooler than taking your favourite vintage out for a race with mates. Its good to see what you and Asso look like too. I think racing on short grass would be fun (even in the wet). Keep up the good work guys. :D

thanks guys
I whish I had thought a little further before putting the knife in the back of the funco body. The rear end has real nice detailing and it would have been possible to keep it at 2nd thought (Though the body would be harder to remove: with the spoiler hanging over it.)

There's not much changed under the shell: at least not visible. The belt runs inside the old gearhousing and is hidden, and the slipper sits hidden behind the spur. That's why I didn't bother taking pics of it.

With all the changes this has been a modern concept racer; excellent since there's not much vintage going on at the tracks. The classic body and wheels, and old electronics, are just under-dog tactics

What body shell is that? Looks a bit like the Tamiya 4wd prototype from the early 90's?

Plasma Edge df-02 is the latest tamiya model that used this body, I forgot what the first model with this body was called.

I just trimmed it a bit in an angle to make it sit lower in the front.
