Tip:

the front arms I had on a second hand JRX were all bent through.
It seems they deform under the wieght of the car: not alot , just a bit, but then they start kreeping. The plastic is soft and has no glassfibre reinforcement. The second hand one I got back then was only a year old but you could very well see it.

So for all your shelf queen losi JRX's ; put a plexi block under the chassis so the weight is n't down on the dampers and wheels.
(Especially if you have abattery and full electronics installed also.)

I can verify what Ed says, I bought a new built and the same thing happened to it.

Whoa, $99.99 for the chassis. I had 3 or 4 of those back in the day, but I got it all used. I had no idea they cost that much back then. :shock:

Well, the guy I picked it up from was in Canada. He said that it was part of a lot that he only wanted the Tamiya parts that were also in the lot.

So, assuming that those are $99.99 Canadian dollars....and the exchange was at least a $1.50 back then, it probably wasn't that bad.....
